1 thing that I enjoyed this week is at the beach I went on the I R B the Inflatable rescue boat because it was fun and very hard to hold on without falling off

     W.A.L.T we are learning to write with detail

Yesterday on Tuesday 12th of November 2019 D.H.T wen't to the lifesaver club to learn some of the ropes the tought us C P R and how to tell if there is a rip in the water an a weird song to go with with it. It was a funny song that most of the kids thought was funny after that we had a beach clean up and my group got the most rubbish out of ll the groups then we played a game called flags it wasn't that fun.


After we got to go for a swim the water was warmish it was cold when you just got in but it started to get warm when you get used to the water and Kahutia , Phoenix and I were the only people the got to go on the I R B Inflatable Rescue Boat it was hard to stay on because we went airborne lots of times it was really fun and blood pumping and thrilling   it was a fun day and I hope we all can do it again someday.                                         

what are the roar expectations

The ROAR stands for R,Respect O,Oc pride A,Active Learner R,Responsibility.

These are the things you have to follow to be a good student at Otaki College.And to not get into any trouble.

We have the ROAR to try to keep the students being a good role model for the younger kids


where i can see the ROAR in action in the classroom 1 R Respect i should see respect towards the teacher and the other students.2 O Oc Pride i want to see oc pride in the students  uniform and rules at oc. 3 A Active Learner i would like to see students doing their work and following instructions. 4 R Responsibility i should see responsibility in the way you look after you stuff and the way you take care of others.

my labour weekend

This weekend was a bit longer because it was labour day on Monday so we had Monday off .In that weekend I stayed at my mums it was fun and exciting .At my mums me and my little brother dug a 6 foot hole in the sand it was fun then we had to leave so me and Bjorn filled up the hole while we where filling the hole up my little brother decided to bury me along with the hole.

When we got back we played hide and seek with my little sister .Every time I found my little sister she yelled i'm not playing because I don't like to be in so i'm not playing so our mum talked to Niesha to stop being a bratty little witch. It is really funny to see niesha angry because she gets all puffed up like a puffer fish and red like a baboons ass. my little brother on that hand is like a rampaging gorilla that hits like a little girl it's funny to see him angry as well cause he throws light pillows around to try to scare me.

When I go to my mums she gives me a couple driving lessons on a massive field to make sure I don't crash into anything or anyone . My mum said I am a good driver at my age and that i'm going to be a good driver when I am older.When we go for a driving lesson we usually take it slow and there are trees like this _   _   _   _   _ so I swerve in and out of them and then my mum dropped me off at the gas station to meet Bruce that was going to take me home.

The time I spent at my mum's was fun and I hope that I can go next holiday

one thing that I have learned this week

on thing that I have learned this week is to be more respectful to my teacher and my piers and to stay on task and not to chat to the people around me.1 more thing is that i'm starting to learn algebra

The Revolotion

Do do do da ba di do music shouted out of the hall. On 27/5/19 9:15 the whole school went over to the hall to see a group called reveloution. What they did was sing like four songs and tell storys about their life. after they introduced themselves and they sang a couple of songs and then a guy stepped up and told us a couple of stories about his life and what nice things did for him.


One of the stories was about two ill old men one was blind and the other was very ill and the blind guy and the sick guy became friends.After their freindship bloomed the blind was named Mac and the ill was Tom.Mac asked what it was like outside the window and tom replied it is sunny the park is full of kids every day he told that lie because there was no window in that room in the first place.One night tom went out of the room and took to imeadate surgery because he was ill and a nurse came in and told mac the bad news and then mac asked the nurse what it was like outside the window the  nurse was confussed
and then the nurse said what do you mean there is no window in this room.Then mac thought how much tom did for him.


Then he gave us a couple more songs .Then he got four kids and a teacher for a dance battle it was really funny and cringy to watch they all did a good job at danceing in front of around four hundred kids and like fourty teachers .


the two things i liked about the show was the dance compatition and the singing.

Science Fair

On 8/3/19 all year 7/8's traveled over to the hall to experience a science fair . At the science fair we got to try a lot of cool inventions and devices some had yellow flags and at the yellow flags there was a teacher or a year 10 and the teacher or year 10 asked you some questions about the devices and if you got them right you were given a stamp on the card you were given or found.

The devices were at different levels like some were easy and some were sort of hard but gladily none of them were insanely hard. If we got all the stamps we put our name on the card and put it in a white box up at the front. After the fair finished we were all told to sit down and listen to the people that were about to talk then he asked for a volunteer to help with the experiment.

The experiment was a little bit dangerous but it was sorted with safety after that we thanked the people for coming and left to our classes and went on with the rest of the day.
